Separation
What is stem separation?
It splits a song you upload into parts (stems) like vocals, drums, bass, and accompaniment. You can then place each sound anywhere in 3D space and listen.
How do I separate a song?
In the studio's Listen mode, drag and drop a song file and separation starts automatically. We'll notify you when it's done, and the result is saved to My Tracks.
How long does separation take?
Usually 1–3 minutes depending on the track length. Once a song is separated, you can recall it instantly without separating again.
Tokens
What are tokens and how are they used?
Tokens are the credits used for separation. Separation costs 2 tokens per minute of audio. You get free tokens when you sign up, and a subscription refills tokens every month.
How do I get more tokens?
A subscription refills 300 tokens every month automatically. If you need more, you can buy token packs on the billing page (subscribers only).
Do tokens expire?
Subscription tokens are best used within the month. Tokens you purchase directly never expire and stay on your account.
Visibility
How do I set who can see my work?
Each work can be set to private, invite link, followers, mutuals, or public. Public works appear in the gallery and search.
How do I get my work into the gallery?
Open the share menu and set visibility to Public — it then appears in the gallery. Switch back to private and it's removed immediately.
Export
Can I export what I make?
Scenes you build in Compose mode can be recorded as a cinematic clip (video) and downloaded. Your account, profile, and usage history can be exported as JSON from My data on your profile page.
Can I download my account data?
Yes. On your profile page, tap Download my data to get a single JSON file with your account, profile, and usage history (up to twice an hour).
Copyright
Can I upload any song?
Only upload audio you own the rights to or are licensed to use. Respect copyright when you publish or share separated results, too.
What if I find a copyright violation?
You can report it on the copyright report page. We review every report and take action.
